All-American Cowboy Adventure
We require a minimum of 2 riders in your party, with a
minimum age of 8 years old. However from time to
time, we may have space available for an individual, so please
go ahead and call to check the schedule if you do not have 2 in
your party.
If you have a younger child, please
If you have chosen a public trail, we will load and transport the horses to the Park that you
have chosen to ride. We will meet you at a designated
place prior to the Trail Head, then you can follow us to the
Trail Head for parking.
You do not need to have any previous riding experience to
participate in one of our guided trail rides. Riders
under the age of 18, are required to wear an equestrian
approved riding helmet. You may wear your own helmet or one
will be provided for you to borrow, free of charge.
We will provide you with a seasoned trail horse to lease for
the duration of your experience, beginning from the time we
arrive at the trailhead until the time we are ready to load the horses
back up on the trailer after your ride.
Your total time spent with "your" horse will be approximately 4 - 5 hours.
The ride itself will last about 3 hours, sometimes a little
longer, with a saddle bag lunch out
on the trail. Longer rides are available but need to be arranged ahead of
time. For a shorter ride, we have a Saddle
Sore Saver One Hour Ride.
You will begin your adventure by grooming and becoming
acquainted with the horse that is yours for the day. More
than likely, your horse will already be saddled in order to save
time, especially if there are very many in your party.
However there are always plenty of last minute things to do -
like bridle, adjust stirrups, fly spray, etc.
You will be provided all the necessary tack: Saddle,
Bridle, Blanket, Breast Collar, Lead Rope, Saddle Bag, Water Bottle Holder,
Helmet.
Once you are completely tacked up, and before your trail
ride journey begins, we will instruct you on the basics of
trail riding with a brief Trail Riding
101. You may also ask questions for more instruction as
the ride goes on.
Throughout your adventure, we will try to take as many pictures of
you as we possibly can in order to preserve your
experience. However we make no guarantee of this
additional complimentary service, as there may be factors outside our control
that would prevent any pictures from turning out. Any
pictures we are able to take, will be uploaded to your own
personal Kodak Gallery. You may then use those
photos to share with your family and friends, and you may also
have our staff to custom make items such as T-Shirts, Mugs, and Mouse Pads
using your favorite photos!

Reservations are Required. You must pre-register
and pre-pay prior to your ride. On occasion, we may
be able to accommodate you with only a day notice, however
usually it takes longer, so please make your reservation
as soon as you are able to.
You will need to sign a Participation Waiver
Form. Children under the age of 15 must be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Anyone ages 15 -
17 must have prior
clearance with our registration office, which includes our
staff personally speaking with a parent or guardian, in
addition to a signed Consent & Participation Waiver.
Only good, clean, family oriented fellowship is allowed. We reserve the right to dismiss any
client at anytime without refund for inappropriate behavior
towards other clients, our guides, or our horses!
In the event of inclement weather, it may be necessary to reschedule
to another time, however there will be no refunds. If possible,
we will try to make this decision prior to the loading and travel time of the horses, usually
around 7 a.m. Your safety, and the safety of our horses
and guides are our number one priority and consideration.
Our second priority is to the trails that we travel and that tax
payer dollars pay to maintain. Therefore in the event of
muddy conditions or previous storm related damage, it may also
be necessary to cancel or to switch to a different trail less
affected.
You may reschedule your ride if necessary due to an illness
or conflict, however again, there will be no refunds. Again, if
possible, please call and cancel with as much advance notice as
you can provide, so that we do not use valuable time and
resources with loading and hauling horses unnecessarily.
Trail Rides need to be paid in advance at the time of
registration, and we accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, & personal
checks if you want to mail in your forms.
