The Horses

Our horses are some of the finest trail-ready horses anywhere - with years and years of experience.  They are well-mannered and level headed with pleasant dispositions.  Each one has their own unique personality and we love each and every one of them.

Two Friends enjoying the  River with Willy & Buck

Sailor

Sailor is a Palomino Quarter Horse.  He is a retired Team Penning Horse.  He has a better sense of reading the trail than many of the people I know.  He is our biggest boy at around 15.3 hands.

JJ

J.J short for Jungle Janie, is a registered quarter horse.  You would never guess her age and she is very calm and good natured.  She is a real jewel and stands about 14 hands.

Buck

At age 17, Buck is just an all around great horse.  In fact, he has been the Horse of the Year for our local saddle club, which included a 1st place win in the Trail Horse Class, being ridden by a 10 year old, competing against Adults.

Willy

Willy is one of the great ones, a good ole reliable :-) He is a great trail horse and a gaited Missouri Foxtrotter as a bonus.

Lady

Lady is a real nice gaited mare.  She is 20+ and has taken many a person and child safely down the trail.

Ray

Ray, a quarter horse, is a retired reining horse, and is perfectly happy to mosey down the trail with his rider.

Sarge

A true Black Beauty, Sarge is also a Trail Guide Horse that has a sweet and willing disposition.  He is a pleasure to have along on any trail ride.

Beaver

Beaver, another Trail Guide Horse, is a wonderful Paint Horse, that is as easy going as they come.  He has a the greatest laid back personality, and just not too much ever bothers the Beav.

Mikey

Your Trail Guide Horse, is a real trail blazing bulldozer.  Although your trail ride will consist of maintained park trails, Mikey is the happiest when we are exploring unchartered territories and pushing our way through brush and anything else that is in our way.

Not everyone has the time, commitment, or financial resources available to them to allow them to own their own horse, so we take care of all that so you can enjoy horses and riding without the fuss and expense. We work tirelessly 365 days a year in all kinds of weather so that you can enjoy our horses when the weather conditions are more suitable for riding.
