We faired the first round of winter fairly well.
Thousands of people were without electricity, heat &
water, but thankfully we never lost power. The horses
had plenty of hay, water, & shelter.
However, the big Mulberry tree, which provided
shade over two hitching posts and that over the years has
watched many riders - old & young, new & experienced -
mount up maybe for the very first time or for the ump-teenth
time, did not do so well. About half of this great
'ole tree is gone.
