Prairie Home Conservation Area is close to Boonville. The McAdoo Trail at Knob Noster State Park is close to Warrensburg, Sedalia, Warsaw, and the Truman Lake Area . Each of these trails are easily accessible from Kansas City and St. Louis in addition to being just a hop, skip, and a jump from any Central Missouri town.
