Trail Obstacle Course
The trail obstacle course is an enclosed arena for the
purpose of bonding and practicing with your horse. Some
people prefer to spend all their time in the arena, with perhaps
a mini-trail ride outside of the arena once they feel
ready.
Horses are naturally curious creatures, but certain things
can startle them out of the trail. Therefore, we use many
different obstacles in our arena in an effort to desensitize our
horses to things they may encounter out on the trail. It
also just helps them in general. It builds their
confidence as well as the confidence of their rider in
preparation for various other obstacles that may be encountered
out on the trail.
Our obstacle course contains things such as culverts, a
ditch, bicycles, logs to step over, tarps flapping in the tree,
tarps laid upon the ground, etc.
Rates are the same as a Saddle Sore Saver Trail Ride and can
be used in conjunction with a SSS Trail Ride or as a Stand Alone
Activity:
*$35 per rider
approx. 90 Minutes - Horse, Instruction, Tack. We
will also try to take as many pictures as possible, and send
them to you via your own personal Kodak Gallery link.

Reservations are Required. You must pre-register
and pre-pay prior to your ride. On occasion, we may
be able to accommodate you with only a day notice, however
usually it takes longer, so please make your reservation
as soon as you are able to.
You will need to sign a Participation Waiver
Form. Children under the age of 15 must be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Anyone ages 15 -
17 must have prior
clearance with our registration office, which includes our
staff personally speaking with a parent or guardian, in
addition to a signed Consent & Participation Waiver.
Only good, clean, family oriented fellowship is allowed. We reserve the right to dismiss any
client at anytime without refund for inappropriate behavior
towards other clients, our guides, or our horses!
In the event of inclement weather, it may be necessary to reschedule
to another time, however there will be no refunds. If possible,
we will try to make this decision prior to your arrival.
Please feel free to call in advance of your scheduled ride if
you are in doubt of the weather. Your safety, and the safety of our horses
and guides are our number one priority and consideration.
Our second priority is to the trails that we travel.
You may reschedule your ride if necessary due to an illness
or conflict, however again, there will be no refunds. Again, if
possible, please call and cancel with as much advance notice as
you can provide, so that we do not use valuable time and
resources with tacking horses unnecessarily.
Trail Rides need to be paid in advance at the time of
registration, and we accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, & personal
checks if you want to mail in your forms.
