The Ride

Saddle Sore Saver

Your Saddle Sore Saver one hour trail ride will start here at our place in Central Missouri, just outside of California, and we will ride on private property.  We have several one hour routes, so your ride will consist of mixed Missouri terrain, which could include some secluded country roads, rich Missouri farm land, Forest, and water crossings.

As with the All-American Cowboy Adventure, our Saddle Sore Saver One Hour Trail Ride also requires a minimum of 2 riders in your party, with a minimum age of 8 years old.  However from time to time, we may have space available for an individual, so please go ahead and call to check the schedule if you do not have 2 in your party.

If you have a younger child, please click here for your options.

These trails will take you through some of the most beautiful scenery Central Missouri has to offer in a short period of time.  Rolling Hills, lakes, ponds, the Moreau River, lush gentle pastures, alongside fertile cropland, and diverse stands of hardwoods, pines and cedar that grace the hills and valleys of the forest landscape, are just some of the hidden gems you might experience.

You do not need to have any previous riding experience to participate in one of our guided trail rides.  Riders under the age of 18, are required to wear an equestrian approved riding helmet. You may wear your own helmet or one will be provided for you to borrow, free of charge.

We will provide you with a seasoned trail horse to lease for the duration of your experience, beginning with approximately 30 minutes of becoming acquainted with your trusty steed, making any necessary equipment adjustments, and a brief Trail Riding 101.

Your total time spent with "your" horse will be approximately 90 minutes.

Please be prompt in arriving for your appointed time so as not to affect those appointments scheduled after yours.  If you are running too late and your ride can not be completed without affecting the next group of riders, your ride will need to be rescheduled.

Throughout your adventure, we will try to take as many pictures of you as we possibly can in order to preserve your experience.  However we make no guarantee of this additional complimentary service, as there may be factors outside our control that would prevent any pictures from turning out.  Any pictures we are able to take, will be uploaded to your own personal Kodak Galley.  You may then use those photos to share with your family and friends, and you may also have our staff to custom make items such as T-Shirts, Mugs, and Mouse Pads using your favorite photos!
