Missouri Trails
We are so fortunate here in Missouri to have so many wonderful trails
available to us.
Missouri Is A National
Leader In State Park Support. Year in and year out, the Missouri system
of State Parks and Historic Sites is a model for the nation and
has never been rated out of the top three state park systems in
the past 20 years.
Missouri Department of Natural Resources, our Missouri Department of Conservation,
the US Army Corp of Engineers, the US Forest Service, and the National Park
Service all work very hard to preserve Missouri's outstanding natural landscapes and
cultural landmarks, and to provide outdoor recreational opportunities for
equestrians.
We have access to 44,000+ acres right here in the Central
Missouri area, and Broken Gait Trail Rides provides you with the means by
which you can enjoy all the natural wonders and beauty of our
Missouri Parks and Landscapes by Horseback.
You can choose one of the following Central Missouri trails
for your Complete Trail Ride Adventure.
Please Note:
The One Hour Saddle Sore Saver rides
are at Broken Gait only.

 | There is a 25 mile section of the Katy Trail
between Sedalia and Calhoun that is open to
horses. This section is a nice well-drained
trail, and therefore we ride it at times when other
trails may be too wet to ride. |
